Tina Marie Peeples

Tina Marie Peeples, 65, of Blythewood, SC, died on Thursday, April 9, 2026.

Tina was born on December 4, 1960, in Montgomery, Maryland, to John D. and Ethel Reed King. She is survived by her son, Theodore Ernest Peeples, Jr.; daughters, Maria L. Toole (Nathan) and Candice Lucas (Mike); grandchildren, Brendon Toole, Makenzie Toole, Avrie Toole, Michael Lucas, Savannah Lucas, and Colton Lucas; brothers, Ernest D. King, Bobby King, Billy King, and Sydney King, as well as her sisters, Christine Cailiouet and Denise Sampsel. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by the love of her life, Theodore Ernest Peeples and her sister, Elsie Inzer.

Tina enjoyed spending time with her family, being outdoors, and country music. She loved animals, especially horses and chihuahuas. She spent her spare time preparing delicious meals and crocheting. Tina even gifted each of her grandchildren homemade crocheted blankets at their birth. Her greatest accomplishment was being a nurturing and caring mother and grandmother.

The memorial service for Tina will be held at 5 o'clock, Friday, April 17th, at Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, 7600 Trenholm Road Ext., Columbia, with Rev. Dr. Ben Newman officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to the service beginning at 4 o'clock.
