Mr. Tommy Nates' Obituary
Tommy Nates, 86, of Columbia, died Friday, October 23. 2020. Born July 21, 1934 in Columbia, he was a son of the late Paris Nates and Lilly Lee Nates.
He is survived by his daughter, Della Templeton; grandsons; Chris Dicks, and Trey Warren; great-granddaughter Anna Warren. In addition to his parents, Tommy is preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Cleo D. Nates, daughter; Rose "Kandi" Stewart, and son-in-law; Ron Stewart.
The funeral service for Mr. Nates will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 200 Center Point Cir. #100, Columbia, SC, 29210. Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, is assisting the family.
