Toreitha Cunningham Mosley, 85, of Columbia, joined her Heavenly Father on August 2, 2018. She was born in Columbia to the late Willie and Pearl Hallman Cunningham.
Mrs. Mosley was a 1951 graduate of Brookland Cayce High School. She retired from the SC Dept. of Motor Vehicles with 38 years of service. Mrs. Mosley was a former member of St. Luke United Methodist Church for over 50 years, and a current member of Union United Methodist Church.
She loved her Lord and her family and friends immensely, and enjoyed going to the beach, traveling and reading.
Surviving are her daughters, Elaine (Randall) Stansell and Karen (Gene) Springfield of Irmo; grandchildren, Charlie (Gloria) Stansell, Melissa (Davin) Good, Stephanie (Reid) Bolton, Bradley and Johnny Springfield; great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Alissa and Jordan Stansell, Greyson and Palmer Good, and Wilkes Bolton, her life-long best friend forever, who was like a sister, Joyce Baughman, as well as an aunt, uncle, and cousins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Everett Mosley.
The Celebration of Life for Mrs. Mosley will be held 1 o'clock, Saturday, August 4th, at Shives Funeral Home, Colonial Chapel, 5202 Colonial Drive, Columbia. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 12 o'clock. Burial will follow in Pond Branch United Methodist Church Cemetery in Gilbert.
