Travis Ray Harmon, Sr., widower of Claudia Ann Harmon, went home to be with the Lord on the morning of July 28, 2022, at his home in Beaufort, SC. He was surrounded by his three children, family, and friends during his last earthly days. Travis was a graduate of Columbia Commercial College and worked at RC motor lines and later in Medical Supply sales. Travis was known as Trav by his daughter, Tammy and as Papa by his grandchildren. It didn't matter how tough a day he was having he would always have a smile for them. His faith in Jesus was strong and he didn't mind sharing it with any or all who would listen. It is only goodbye for now, we will see you soon.

Survivors include his son, Travis Ray Harmon, Jr. (Sharon); daughters, Ann Harmon Olivarri (Daniel) and Tammy Lea Harmon; grandchildren, T.J. Harmon, Julia Louise Harmon, Jeremy Paul Harmon, Wade Philip Olivarri, and Sarah Claudia Olivarri; great granddaughter, Samantha Elise Harmon; siblings, Goldie Lee Harmon, Albert Linwood Harmon and Edith (Janelle) Peddings. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Emerson Berkeley Harmon and J.P. Harmon.

The graveside service for Mr. Harmon will be held at 3 o'clock, Sunday, July 31st, at Crescent Hill Memorial Gardens, 2603 Two Notch Road, Columbia. The family will receive friends prior to the service at Shives Funeral Home, Colonial Chapel, 5202 Colonial Drive, Columbia, from 1 until 2:30 o'clock.
