Vicki Jane Johnson-Davis

Vicki Jane Johnson-Davis, 68, of Beaufort, and formerly of Columbia, died Friday, May 6, 2016. Born on March 14, 1948, in Batesburg, she was a daughter of the late Horace E. Adams, Jr., and Nadine Murtiashaw Adams. Vicki was a graduate of Aiken High School, and for many years she owned and operated Taco Cid Restaurants in Columbia. She enjoyed gardening, landscaping, working outdoors and spending time with her family at the beach. Vicki was a woman of faith, and she enjoyed the worship and fellowship she shared at Praise Assembly in Beaufort.

Vicki is survived by her husband, Billy Davis; sons, Ed Johnson (Courtney), and Chad Johnson (Melissa); sister, Anna Leopard (George); brothers, Carl Adams (JeNeann), and Butch Adams (Betty); grandchildren, Makayla Johnson, Bryce Johnson, John Holt, and Joey Holt; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother and two nephews.

A funeral service will be held 11 o'clock, Wednesday, May 11th, at Rehoboth United Methodist Church, with Pastor Doug Benton officiating. A committal service will be held at 1 o'clock at Ridge Crest Memorial Park, 327 Summerland Ave., Batesburg, SC. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 o'clock, Tuesday, at Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, 7600 Trenholm Rd. Exn., Columbia.
