Victoria "Vickie" Cox Laughlin, 74, of Columbia, passed away on Thursday, April 20, 2023. Born on November 14, 1948, in Hemingway, South Carolina. She was a daughter of the late Clifton Lavern Cox and Azlee McDaniel Cox. Vickie was the loving wife of 52 years to Edward Nelson Laughlin.

Vickie was a graduate of Hemingway High School and earned her certification as a surgical technician at Florence McLeod Hospital. She enjoyed yoga, knitting and cross stitch. Vickie was a kind, loving soul although strong-willed and determined.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Seth Laughlin (Jody), Ellen Laughlin Smith (Simon), and Lee Laughlin; grandchildren, Anastasia, Jalen, Lily, and Larissa; siblings, C.W. Cox, Bennett Cox, and Elaine Elliott.

Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, is assisting the family. A private service will be held by the family.
