Vincenzo "Vincent" Morana, 88, of Columbia, died Wednesday, August 16, 2017. Born on January 9, 1929 in Bagheria, Sicily, Italy, he was a son of the late Tommaso Morana and Cristina Cordova Morana. Vincent was a hard-working man who was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was a member of St. John Neumann Catholic Church.

He is survived his wife of 55 years, Dorothy Frusciano Morana; his son, Thomas Morana; daughter, Christina Porto (Daniel); grandchildren, Christina, Thomas, Britanni; and a brother, Salvatore Morana (Maria). In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 12 o'clock, Friday, August 18th, at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 721 Polo Road, Columbia, with Father C. Alexander McDonald officiating. Entombment will follow in Elmwood Cemetery. Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, is assisting the family.
