Virginia "Jenny" Brazell Lee, 79, of Columbia, died on Wednesday, November 8, 2023. Born in Columbia, SC, on July 19, 1944, she was a daughter of the late John and Lottie Brazell. Mrs. Lee was a loving mother and adored her family, especially her granddaughters. She enjoyed doing yard work until her health prevented her.

Survivors include her son, Tommy Joseph (Joe) Lee, Jr. (Janice); granddaughters, Shannon and Chelsie Lee; great-grandchildren, Paisley Freezon and Garner Scrubbs; and sisters, Linda Brown (Billy) and JoAnn Williams. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Tommy Joseph Lee, Sr.; and brother, Thomas Brazell.

The graveside service for Mrs. Lee will be held at 3 o'clock, Monday, November 13th, at Iglesia Nueva Esperanza IPHC Cemetery (formerly Spring Valley Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery), 109 Roseberry Circle, Columbia, SC. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 o'clock, Sunday, at Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, 7600 Trenholm Road Ext., Columbia.
