Virginia "Ginger" Lee Stevens, 55, of Elgin, died Thursday, November 21, 2013. Born in Richland County, she was a daughter of the late Charles Allen Shelley and Rosa Lee Sawyer Shelley. She was a member of Jackson Creek Baptist Church. Virginia was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.

Survivors include her husband, Gary Stevens of Elgin; daughter, Brittany Stevens of Elgin; sister, Charlene (Joey) Martin; niece, Megan Martin; nephew, Joe Martin, all of Lugoff; as well as numerous aunts, uncle, and cousins.

The funeral service for Mrs. Stevens will be held 2 o'clock, Monday, November 25th, at Jackson Creek Baptist Church, 7778 Two Notch Rd, Columbia, with The Rev. Dr. Walter Mack Burriss officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church, prior to the service, beginning at1 o'clock.
