Mrs. Willa Jean Tolley Williams, 90, of Columbia, died Tuesday, August 4, 2015. Born in Avery County, NC on March 11, 1925, she was a daughter of the late George H. and Hettie Elizabeth Gribble Tolley. Jean was a dedicated Army wife, and a devoted member of Sandy Level Baptist Church.

Survivors include her daughter, Camellia "Cam" W. Dial (Allard) of Columbia; sons, John Charles Williams (Pamela) of Raleigh, NC, Mark Edward Williams (Joan) of Sonoita, AZ; three grandchildren, Gina D. Cotton (Robby) of Blythewood, Matthew and Jordan Williams of Raleigh; three great grandchildren, Heyward, Andrew and Mark Moak. In addition to her parents, Jean was preceded in death by her husband, Claude A. Williams; daughter, Claudia Williams; and grandson, John Mark Dial.

The funeral service for Mrs. Williams will be held 11:30 o'clock, Monday, August 10, 2015 at Sandy Level Baptist Church, 408 Blythewood Rd, Blythewood, with The Rev. Chris Hanley officiating. The family will receive friends at the church, prior to the service, beginning at 10:30 o'clock. Burial will follow at 1 o'clock at Fort Jackson National Cemetery.
