William C. "Bill" Ennis, Jr., 84, of Columbia, died Tuesday, March 28, 2017. He was a son of the late William Calvin Ennis and Cecilia Frances Stoddard Ennis. Mr. Ennis was a retired educator with more than 40 years of service and was a member of Forest Lake Presbyterian Church, where he sang in the choir.

Bill leaves behind to mourn his loss his daughter, Dawn R. Ennis; sons, The Rev. Mark W. Ennis (The Rev. Pamela Pater-Ennis) and Carlos C. Ennis (Houria); daughters, Janie Feinberg (Barry) and Rosemarie Currey; five grandchildren; and one great-grandson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Marie Minnella Ennis.

A Service of Witness to the Resurrection for Mr. Ennis will be held 2 o'clock, Sunday, April 2nd, at Forest Lake Presbyterian Church, 6500 Trenholm Road, Columbia, with The Rev. Dr. Ellen F. Skidmore officiating. Additional fraternal and religious services will be held in New Jersey and will be announced by Armitage & Wiggins Funeral Home, Kearney, NJ. Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, is assisting the family.
