William Bruce Hubbard, 95, of Columbia, died on Saturday, April 20, 2024. Born April 3, 1929, in Laurel, Kentucky, he was a son of the late William and Mary Napier Hubbard. Mr. Hubbard was a US Navy veteran that proudly served his country. Prior to his retirement, he was a machinist for over three decades with Shakespeare Manufacturing. Mr. Hubbard enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially when given the opportunity to tend to his trees and rose bushes.

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Frances Blake Hubbard; children, Steven Bruce Hubbard (Pat) of Irmo, Carolyn Kay Anthony (Floyd) of Elgin, and Patricia Ann Hannon (Robert) of Callahan, FL. He also leaves behind his grandchildren, Nicki Ann Miller (Eric) of Columbia and Joshua Alan Collins of Blythewood; great grandchildren, Jacob Alan Collins of Ft. Stewart, GA and Will Collins of Monroe, NC; as well as his great grandchild, Casey Collins. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five brothers and five half-brothers.

The graveside service for Mr. Hubbard will be held at 2 o'clock, Monday, May 6th, at Fort Jackson National Cemetery, 4170 Percival Rd, Columbia, SC.
