The memorial service for Mr. William Randall Montgomery, 71, will be held on Thursday, February 13, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Trinity Baptist Church-Cayce, 2003 Charleston Highway Cayce, SC 29033. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM prior to the service at Trinity Baptist Church-Cayce.

Billy, as called by friends and family, went home to our Lord peacefully on Friday, February 7, 2025 with his family by his side. Born in Columbia, he was the son of the late Joyce Allen Montgomery and the late William Otto Montgomery. Billy was a very proud member of the Olympia community and attended the Olympia school system from first grade through twelfth grade. He then went on to serve our country in the Navy during the Vietnam War Era. Through out most of his adult life, he worked as a car salesman, most often calling Love Chevrolet his work home. In later years, he enjoyed working with wood and building rockers, swings, and playsets for his grandchildren in his shed. His family was his greatest source of pride and joy.

Surviving are his wife of forty-one years of marriage, Deanne Arant Montgomery; Sons, Jason Montgomery (Trudie), John Montgomery (Tonya), and Michael Montgomery (Lauren); daughters, Victoria Montgomery, Kathryn Peake (Duane), and Brandi Johnson (Brandon); Grandchildren, JW Montgomery, Abby Montgomery, Paige Montgomery, Katynne Peake, Tyden Peake, Maverick Montgomery, Clara Johnson, Micah Montgomery, Emma Johnson, and Kennedy Johnson; grand dog, Asher Montgomery. Being an only child, he shared a close bond with his brother-in-laws, Tommy Arant and Coy Arant; his sister-in-law Stevi Blease (Brian); nieces, Samantha Floore (Chad) and Danielle Blease.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Trinity Baptist Church-Cayce's Preschool Department.

Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, is assisting the family.
