William Henry Moody "Billy", of Columbia, died peacefully on Monday, March 31, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Columbia, SC, he was the son of the late Rhett Lloyd Moody and Frances Youngblood Moody.

Billy retired from Blue Cross Blue Shield of South Carolina following many years of service. A graduate of The University of South Carolina, Billy also honorably served in the US Army Reserves. He was an active member of Kilbourne Park Baptist Church, where he previously served as a deacon and enjoyed being a member of the Gatekeepers Sunday school class.

He was passionate about golf, and loved participating in many golf tournaments, especially when he won.

A beloved husband, father, and grandfather, he is survived by his wife, Donna Faulks Moody, and his children, Jennifer Lee Moody, William Henry Moody, Jr. (Tara) and Lloyd Everett Faulks Moody (Mandy). Also surviving are his grandchildren, Donna Lee Sanchez, Tristan Moody, Hayden Moody, and Nila Moody. Billy was a loyal brother to Alise Moody Daniel and brother-in-law to Suzanne Pilcher Moody. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Rhett Lloyd Moody, Jr.

The memorial service for Billy will be held at 11 o'clock on Wednesday, April 2nd, at Kilbourne Park Baptist Church, with the Rev. Terry Smoak officiating.

The family will receive guests in the Annie Greene Building at Kilbourne Park Baptist Church prior to the service beginning at 10 o'clock.
