William Randolph (Randy) Steadman, 78, died suddenly on April 5, 2024, in Lexington SC.
Randy was born in Columbia, SC, on December 23, 1945, to Walter and Ollie Steadman. After attending Eau Claire High School, he joined the Air Force.
Throughout his life he enjoyed many passions… riding his motorcycles, restoring cars (especially antiques), shooting pool, baking oatmeal cookies, meeting friends for coffee, and playing with his dogs.
He is survived by his son, W.R. Steadman, Jr.; his grandson, W.R. Steadman, III; two sisters, Kathy Krasnoff, of Sanford, FL and Joan Butler, of West Columbia; nephew, Danny Butler (Jamie) of Memphis, TN; nephew, David Butler, of West Columbia; and many cousins.
The family would like to extend their special thank you to Agape Hospice Facility in Lexington and especially Cynthia Allen, whose love and compassion was so comforting to the family.

The graveside service for Mr. Steadman will be held at 11 o'clock, Wednesday, April 10th, at Pine Grove Cemetery, 302 Pine Grove Road, Blythewood, with Pastor David Goforth officiating. The family will receive friends following the service in the church cemetery. Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, is assisting the family.
