Willis Neil Hanna, 90, of Columbia, died on Wednesday, December 25, 2024. Born in Clover, SC, he was a son of the late Harry Monroe and Mabel Adeline Bailey Hanna. Mr. Hanna served in the United States Army and was an educator for York, SC. He served as president of the SC Elementary Principal's Association and was a life member of SCEA and NEA. Mr. Hanna was also a member of The Basilica of Saint Peter in Columbia, SC.

Survivors include his son, Troy Monroe Hanna (Cecilia Kelley Hanna); grandchildren, Lillian Monroe Hanna and Troy McNair Hanna. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Mildred Rebecca Hanna Jackson.

The graveside service for Mr. Hanna will be held privately with family at St. Peter's Catholic Cemetery in Columbia, SC. Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, is assisting the family.
