Wolf Winter, 55, of Cayce died, Saturday, April 20, 2013. Born April 10, 1958 in Stuttgart, Germany, he was a son of the late Wolfgang Jahn and Antonia Winter Lochbrunner. Wolf was a loving, devoted husband and father. He thoroughly enjoyed every day of his life, and cherished every moment spent with his wife Stephanie; they were truly soul mates. Wolf had a thirst for knowledge that was never ending. He loved the arts and poetry, and sought truth in his life. He was a world traveler, a "Renaissance Man" and will be deeply missed.
Survivors include his wife, Stephanie Howard Winter; his sons, Sascha Manske and Fabian Manske, both of Germany; a brother, Klaus Lochbrunner of Germany; and a grandson, Jeremy David Leo Awuma of Germany.
The family will hold a private gathering to celebrate Wolf's life at a later date. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, SC Division, 128 Stonemark Lane, Columbia, SC 29210 or to the American Lung Association of SC, 1817 Gadsden Street, Columbia, SC 29201.
