Wynona "Nona" Satcher Jacobs, 90, of Lexington, died Sunday, September 13, 2020. Born on November 2, 1929 in Greenwood, SC, she was a daughter of the late Bryan B. Satcher and Milie Fulmer Satcher. Nona was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend. She always put others before herself. She loved to sing, loved her church, loved to prepare meals and be with family and friends. Some of our fondest memories were singing while Daddy played the piano and sitting around the table eating and laughing.

Nona leaves behind two daughters, Charmaine Jacobs Hutchins, Gayle Jacobs Armstrong; two daughters-in-law, Wendy W. Jacobs, Rhonda C. Jacobs; grandchildren, Kim McLain (Brett), Nicholas Hutchins (Katie), Cody Jacobs (Tina), Carleigh Horner (Michael), Jesse Alsing, Isaac "Ike" Armstrong (Olivia), Leah Armstrong, Brandon Jacobs, Ben Jacobs; great grandchildren, Chase, Allison, Sawyer, James, Colby, Ryan, and Ella. In addition to her parents, Nona was preceded in death by her loving husband, Gilbert B. Jacobs; sons Randy B. Jacobs, and Vann L. Jacobs.

The immediate family will gather at the graveside on Thursday, September 17, 2020, where she will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband, Gilbert B. Jacobs. Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel is assisting the family.
