Yong Hyon Yi, 80, of Columbia, died on Friday, June 24, 2022. Born in South Korea on December 13, 1941, he was a son of the late Young Yi and Gye Kwon. Mr. Yi was self employed and was a member of the Korean Community Presbyterian Church in Columbia, SC.

Survivors include his wife, Sung Boon Cha Yi; three children; and six grandchildren.

The funeral service for Mr. Yi will be held at 5 o'clock, Sunday, June 26th, at Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, 7600 Trenholm Road Ext., Columbia. The family will receive friends prior to the service at the funeral home beginning at 4 o'clock. Burial will be held at Greenlawn Memorial Park on Monday at 1 o'clock.
