Ruby (Yvonne) Lucas Hill, 81, of Blythewood, went to be with our Lord and Savior on Monday, October 18, 2021. Born in Pelion, SC, on May 3, 1940, she was a daughter of the late Earl Franklin and Annie Ruth Taylor Lucas. Mrs. Hill worked for Whirlpool in Quality Control and was a member of Killian Baptist Church. She deeply loved her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and family. In her free time, she often took trips to the Mountains in Maggie Valley, Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Each year her family enjoyed a trip to the beach for a family reunion.

Survivors include her children, Elaine Keller, Gary Hill (Lisa) and Rebecca Gable (Greg); grandchildren, Shawna Ford (Ray), Tommy Keller (Travis), Amy McLarty (Josh), Cale Easterby, Dustin Hill (Nicole), Brandon Hill (Katherine), Hannah Lindsay (Chad) and Gregory Gable II (Grace); great-grandchildren, Randy and Ava Ford, Emeline and Odette McLarty and Everleigh Yvonne Lindsay; siblings, Gaynelle Sharpe, Wilba Jean Black and Maudine Troutman; her beloved dog, Gracie Mae; and cat, Tinkerbell. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Gordon Lewis Hill; daughter, Brenda Easterby; son-in-law, Randy Keller; siblings, Louise Lucas, Earl Lucas, Jr., Mildred Warren, William Lucas, Carl Lucas and Kathryn Baddley.

The funeral service for Mrs. Hill will be held at 2 o'clock, Friday, October 22nd, at Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, 7600 Trenholm Road Ext., Columbia, SC, with Mrs. Allyson Kelly Horton officiating. Burial will follow the service in Killian Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service at the funeral home beginning at 12 o'clock.

Serving as pallbearers will be Dustin Hill, Brandon Hill, Gregory Gable II, Tommy Keller, Randy Ford, Ray Ford, Jed Dilworth and Cale Easterby.
